The Parliament Passes the National Security
In its sitting headed by Mr. Ibrahim Al-Tahir, the NA congratulated the Sudanese People on the New Higra year, and referring to the Independence of Sudan which was declared within the Parliament, Altahir welcomed the return of the SPLM Block. The NA dropped membership of a number of members from different political parties for changing their political color, death, or holding constitutional office. The NA also named Ahmed Eisa the SPLM member as chair person of the Information and Communication Committee.






On the other hand, the NA passed the joint report of the Security and Defence Committee and Legislation and Justice Committee which was presented by the chairperson of the National security and Defence committee D. Jalal Tawer. The NA passed the National Security Service Bill 2009 in the 4th and final reading stage, after adjustment supporting the proposed amendments made by the National Coalition in a way that does not contradict with the CPA.
