Under the Chairmanship of Ustaz Samia Hussan Saeed Ahmed, the Sudanese National Parliamentarian Women body has Commenced Organizing a training Session for the Parliamentarian Women regarding a supervisory role on the general election. Procedures a lecture regarding the electoral system as a mechanism for balanced political Participation which has been presented by Omer Awad Allah Gaeed, where he has affirmed the necessity of the participation of all people's segments in the said election, according to the democratic principles, where the higher power would be relegated to the people to their elected representatives who were chosen through a free electoral system.
The first paper has been on the legal and constitutional election's framework, was presented by Mollana Tarig Mubaruk Majsoub, Chairman of the Commissioners Council at the Federalism Center for Research and abilities up-grading. The said paper has determined the fundamentals of the democratic election's commitments regarding free expression, by the people own free will, individual's freedom, transparency, honesty and non-discriminatory attitude, the right to vote, media potency ,Justice equal accessibility to all media's systems, and finally banning bribery forgery and fraud. The said paper has also added the legal framework for Sudan local governance system which centered on the principles of non-centralization and democracy.
The second paper has been on the election's supervision, the international standard`s, supervision of civil society as a mechanism that guarantees and assuring the fairness of the electoral procedures have been introduced by Ustaz Hussan Nassur Allah.
Finally the women parliamentary body has presented many questions regarding the electoral procedures and the positive distingushtion between right and wrong etc for which he has been responded to by the attendants. It has been determined that the workshop will continue its agenda commencing on the up-coming Thursday.
