Education Workshop to Recommend Activation of Early-Child hood Protection Act and Appropriations for Early strategic Intervention

A workshop on an up dated status Quo with hopes to rear up and educate early child hood which has been organized by the Committee of Education and Scientific Research at the National Assembly conducting it’s final activities which has been preceding for two days. The said workshop has been presided on by Dr. Abd- Allatif Seed Ahmed, chairperson of the committee for High Education in co-operation with the ministry of General Education for all, in co-operation with Sudan Blan organization, Goal organization, United Nations’ Agencies, and Pertornas Company and under the patronage of Ustaz Ahmed Ibrahim El Tahir and under“ Rights from the state” logo. In addition to activating legislations concerning “ Early Child hood protection and a formation of a national strategy for early intervention. In addition to providing palns for Cadres training, in order to acquire adequate childhood information, to as to deal properly with children in their rearing years.
Al-Taher Emphasizes the Depth of the Sudanese-Iranian Relations
date :2012-05-07 The Speaker of the National Assembly Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Tahir emphasized, while meeting with the Assistant of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the strong relations between Sudan and Iran, in which the two countries agreed on the supreme of national and Islamic goals. He pointed out that Sudan is watching closely the developments that is witnessed in Iran in all domains.
He added that Iran is now an important figure, describing the changes and the quest for reform that have been occurred in the Arab-African world as positive. For his part, the Assistant to the President of Iran praised the stance of Sudan in support of Iran calling for the need to strengthen cooperation among Islamic countries, stressing the deep solidarity of his country with Sudan, and referring to the Islamic awakening created by the Arab Spring Revolutions.
National Assembly Approves the Country’s Quarterly Budget

The National Assembly approved in its today’s Sitting, under the chairmanship of Speaker Ahmed Ibrahim El-Tahir, the statement of the Minister of Finance and National Economy on the performance of the budget during the first quarter of 2012.
The statement pointed to the difficulties and challenges of the budget implementation, due to the repercussions and developments of economic, political, security and social conditions exercised by the country during the first quarter of this year – continuation of economic sanctions, failure to achieve an agreement with South Sudan on the charges of oil services, which resulted in a gap of SDG 6555 million per a year, lack of security in the states of Blue Nile and South Kordofan, and rise in the exchange rate (13%) in addition to indirect subsidy to commodities.
Sudanese Parliamentary Women to Ward off Aggression against Sudan in A memo
date :2012-05-06 A broad meeting was held by Sudanese Parliamentary Women President by the chairperson of the Committee Ustaz/ Samia Hassan Said Ahmed. The meeting discussed drawing up a politically lawful memo to include the Women Parliamentarians’ demand in warding off aggressions against Sudan following the occupation in Southern Kurdofun by the government of Southern Sudan.
The Articles stipulating violations and the Parliament’s efforts to address such violations for the Women Parliamentary at the regional and international Parliaments’ Issues such as child kidnapping, child conscription and their dispersion to the camps within the Southern State, in addition to the violation of Women rights and the loss impacted some of economic features of the country.
Al-Mutafi Submits to the Agriculture Committee at the Parliament a Report on the Agricultural Season 2011-2012

The Minister of Agriculture Dr. Abdul Halim Ismail Al-mutafi presented to the Agricultural and Animal Affairs Committee at the National Assembly chaired by Dr. Omar Ali, a report on the performance of the agricultural season 2011-2 012, in which he reviewed the productive and financial performance, and the preparations for the agricultural season, in addition to the plan quantitative targets in achieving self-sufficiency of plants’ crops.
AL-Tahir Commends (SAF) Ability in Steering the Battle

Speaker of the National Assembly Ustaz/ Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Tahir has assured Sudan Continuous desire to strengthen its bilateral with (R.A.E) saying that the strength of Egypt is embedded within the strength of Sudan. This came during his meeting with Dr. Hussien Osman. President of the High Committee of Sudanese Expatriates community and his accompanied delegation who are currently visiting the country in support of the (SAF) and the Sudanese people, following the Liberation of Heglig by the (SAF) from the hands of the (PM) and the traitors.
Al-Tahir praised the Sudanese expatriates in Egypt describing such a visit as valuable and apt to strengthen the Sudanese unity, and solidarity which became clear pior the Liberation of Heglig such a unified drive continued until the liberation of Heglig. Adding that such a trend will continue until the liberation of every span of Sudan, praising the ability of the (SAF) reiterating the National Assembly support for the Sudanese expatriates Community in Egypt.
Speaker Meets the Delegation of Turkish Felicity Party, and Secretary-General of Zambian Ruling Party
date :2012-04-19 The head of the Turkish Felicity Party delegations currently visiting the country has conveyed the greetings of the government and people of Turkey to the Sudanese Parliament. This came during the delegation’s a meeting with the Speaker of the National Assembly Ahmed Ibrahim El-Tahir at his office this day. The head of delegation confirmed Turkey’s backing to Sudan in all areas and that both countries share common objectives and visions. He further expressed his wishes Sudan would surpass the problem of the aggression of the South State on Sudan territories, and revealed that the events serve as completion of a colonial scheme to break up Islamic countries in order to eliminate them and exploit their resources.
For his part, El-Tahir affirmed the unity of ideas and positions between Sudan and Turkey, commending the Turkish role in serving Islam and Muslims, and confirming the Government of Sudan’s commitment to Islamic orientation and its keenness on giving an excellent model of Islamic experience.

Commissioner of Sudan Central Bank Ustaz Mohammed Khair Al-Zubair has presented some clarification regarding the polices of Sudan Central Bank before the Financial and Economic Committee at the National Assembly under the Chairmanship of Al-Zubair Ahmed Al-hassan, for (2012) along the outstanding indications and challenges facing the tripartite revitalization programme in the first quarter which aims to restore the balance of Sudan economy within three years.
Meetings and Experiences Exchange’ Week between the Sudanese and Chadian Women Parliamentarians
date :2012-04-03 The Meetings and Experiences Exchange’ Week, between Sudan and Chad, which is organized by the Sudanese Women Parliamentarians Caucus headed by the Caucus Chairperson Ms. Samia Hassan Sayed Ahmed, began today at the National Assembly.
The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ms. Samia Ahmed Mohammed addressed the opening session, emphasizing that women are the basis of the spear in the change process within communities, pointing to the importance of women's participation effectively in all areas of life. She also presented a brief about the Sudanese women parliamentarians, and women's participation of 25% in the local Parliament, adding that, there is great burden on the women leaders in the African continent, in development and progress of the peoples. She appealed upon the parliamentarians to the need of parliamentary monetary and legislations follow-up that are passed by the parliaments to ensure good governance.
El Tahir meets with the Executive Secretary of the Great Lakes International Conference Organization

The Speaker of the National Assembly Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim El-Tahir emphasized the importance of stability of the countries of the Great-Lakes Region which is the main area of water distribution in Affric and owns vast natural wealth. He explained that Sudan’s accession to the Organization stems from Sudan’s beliefs in the vitality of peace and stability in the Region and the urgent need for stopping the war that was imposed on Sudan.
